Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of SoundsByte and soundsbyte.com. By creating an account, purchasing credits, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. Do not use SoundsByte if you do not agree.

The Service

SoundsByte provides AI-assisted tools for generating and editing audio, music, and sound effects. Features, supported models, credit requirements, processing times, availability, and output quality can change and may vary by request, plan, system load, or provider availability. We do not guarantee that a particular request will complete or produce a particular result.

Accounts, Credits, and Subscriptions

You must provide accurate account and payment information, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly about unauthorized use. Credits may be required for generation workflows and may be offered through one-time purchases or subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period unless you cancel before the next renewal. Your plan, checkout page, and the Refund Policy describe the applicable billing, credit, and refund terms.

Acceptable Use

You may use SoundsByte only for lawful purposes. You must not upload, request, create, edit, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, contains malware or fraud, meaningfully impersonates a person or organization, invades privacy, exploits or sexualizes minors, is sexually explicit, or is intended to evade safety controls. You must not bypass service limits, moderation, security measures, or payment controls.

Your Content and Rights

You are responsible for the prompts, audio, files, reference material, and other content you submit. You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and any required consent to use that content with SoundsByte. As between you and SoundsByte, you retain the rights you hold in your inputs and any rights in outputs that applicable law allows. You grant SoundsByte the limited, non-exclusive permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

Enforcement and Service Changes

We may reject a request, remove content, restrict access, suspend or terminate an account, or report activity when required by law if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated. We may modify, limit, or discontinue features, plans, prices, or credit requirements. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes through the service or this page.

Disclaimers and Liability

SoundsByte is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SoundsByte is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Our total liability for a claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid to SoundsByte for the service giving rise to that claim during the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting the revised version and changing the date above. Your continued use after the revised Terms take effect means that you accept them.
